Snots is a beautiful young boy who came into our care when he was about 9 weeks old. Rescued on a farm he was brought in with his litter mates who were all quite poorly. After vet treatments and meds and lots of love and care the litter all became well and have been adopted out to loving forever homes. Except for Snots. After trying many meds and running lots of tests it became evident that there was something more going on with him. It seemed that there could be some blockage high up in his nose. Unfortunately there is no equipment locally in Queenstown to run further tests to establish what the problem is. Snots will have to be flown to Christchurch for a CT scan first and then surgery up there to help him. This is a massive expense and we are looking at around $5000 for these procedures.

Why spend so much on one cat? Because he deserves it!! Snots is the most loving affectionate kitten. You cannot help but fall in love instantly with his affectionate character. And to think he can be so loving and grateful for everything when he obviously must be in discomfort and possibly pain.

Snots did not need surgery after all, BUT needs medication twice daily for the rest of his life. He is a happy energetic boy and we are so glad we can help him live pain free, as long as he gets his meds! Snots will be a long term foster boy living with Andrea, unless we can find him the right home that understands his needs.
